Self-adhesive paper is a type of paper that has an adhesive strip on the underside that allows for temporary sticking and tearing off products made from it, as well as documents and other surfaces. Special glue technology enables the use of products with no residue of sticky glue on the surface.
The first attempts to create self-adhesive paper were made in the 1970s, when Dr. Spencer Silver worked in his laboratory to develop a super strong glue that allows metals to be combined. He discovered that the adhesive was not strong enough for this type of material, but it did have properties such as low viscosity, multiple uses, and adhesion possibilities without any additional external factors such as temperature.
The adhesive used in the first sticky note productions was very different from the ingredients used today. Printers of self-adhesive notepads affiliated with the Club Of Notes organisation, also known as PromoNotes, use paper with a water-based adhesive in place of a solvent-based adhesive. The resulting paper is environmentally friendly as a result of this innovation.
Sticky notes are more than just a handy way to jot down quick notes; they can also serve as an organiser and a useful tool for daily planning. Here are three ways to incorporate our favourite Cloth & Paper sticky notes into your planning!
Sticky notes are a workplace lifesaver! To keep all of your incoming tasks in one place, add the Kanban Style Monitor Memo Board to your monitor. Personally, I use Task Sticky Notes to list my daily tasks and then post them to my memo board. This way, I can quickly refer to and check off all of my daily objectives. To organise your sticky notes within your workspace, the memo board includes headers To-Do, In Progress, and Done. Simple sticky notes, like the Memo Sticky Notes or Note Neutrality Sticky Notes | Angora, work well with the memo board! These are also minimalist designs that are suitable for professional use.
Sticky notes can help you organise your planner system! Blank Dividers can be labelled, customised with divider tabs, and used with the Inbox/Outbox System. The Blank Tab is our go-to. Sticky Notes can be used for a variety of purposes. To make your own labelled organisation system, add them to your Blank Dividers or stick them to your inserts.
One of the most enjoyable aspects of using sticky notes is incorporating them into my daily planning! Many of our functional sticky notes, like our "Lifestyle" inserts, are excellent choices for lifestyle planning. Use our Arched Habit Tracker Sticky Notes | Au Lait to keep track of your habits and keep them near your monthly or weekly spreads. I like to include the Half Sticky Notes | Mood Tracker on my weekly and daily planning pages so that it can be seen alongside my daily planning notes.
First, locate the photo or design that you want to use as a sticker on your computer. You can change the colour, text font, and filter in certain software programmes, such as Photoshop. You should also ensure that your image is properly scaled to the desired sticker size.
Following that, you must decide which sticker photo paper to use. You'll need water-resistant paper that's also compatible with your inkjet or laser printer. Glossy sticker paper produces high-quality photo reproduction, whereas matte sticker paper is more water resistant. For a more vibrant sticker, use glossy paper with inkjet printers.
Before printing your stickers, make sure you have enough ink in your printer, especially if you're using colour. You should also confirm which side of the paper will print. When sticker paper is stacked on top of other sticker paper, it feeds easily through the printer. Put the paper in your printer and you're done.
Finally, once you have your printouts, simply cut the paper to the desired shape and size. You can now begin sticking your paper wherever you want. Personalize business materials, notebooks, planners, craft projects, and other items.
Because I use sticky notes, I've discovered that the transparent frames, trimmed down, are ideal for inserting between my weekly pages. I can still see the notes for the rest of the week, but each time I review my day, I'm greeted with a positive message and an awesome design. Plus, the transparent frame is ideal for displaying my sticky note collection...yes, there may be more than one note on here at any given time!
Visitors to the booth were encouraged to include the notepads in their disaster preparedness kits so that they could plan ahead of time and have their insurance information readily available. The insurance company was so pleased with the response that they re-ordered a direct mail campaign as well as in-office giveaways.
